Pelikan Souverän M800

This is one of Rick’s favourite pens to use when he’s working on a novel. The M800’s nice, fat size makes it comfortable to hold for several hours at a time. It features a custom-ground italic nib done for him by Richard Binder (Richard is one of the best nib grinders and repairmen on the planet. Visit his website by clicking www.richardspens.com.) on the spot at a Toronto pen show serveral years back, so it’s absolutely perfect for the way he holds his pen (decidedly oddly). The ink shown is one made by Noodlers, Gruene Cactus which is a lovely tone and dries quickly important for Rick since he’s left-handed and writes overhand (smudging is a huge problem).
