If you want a great deal on one of Rick's novels, you've come to the right place!

If you don't mind, we'd like to indulge in a "soapbox" speech. The small booksellers need your help. Yes, it is often more convenient to shop at one of the "big box" superstores. They have the room to stock a wider variety of titles and you will often get a better price, too. But the small, local booksellers are the backbone of the publishing industry. You will almost always get better, more personalized service from them and they really know a lot about what they sell. The can (and will) make recommendations based on knowledge of what they stock. They can also order any book for you, same as the big guys, and will often go to a lot more trouble in searching out a source for that obscure, out-of-print tome you have a hankering for. We list a few great mystery book specialists here in Canada, but if you're a bookseller reading the polemic, why not drop us an and we'll be happy to add you to our list.

Cemetery of the Nameless is still generally available in most Canadian bookstores (or easily orderable) and available from the big online booksellers. We'd prefer if you could deal with them, especially the small bookstores since they need all the help they can get with the book business as it is currently.

However, if you want a signed or personally inscribed copy, we would be perfectly happy to sell you one. Just let us know what wording you'd like and we'll take care of the rest! Click to order.

Shooting Straight in the Dark has (sadly) been remaindered by its publisher. Fret not, though! We bought a whole lot of copies -- and have we got a deal for you! The list price is the book is $22.95 in Canada and $18.95 in the US. We're selling it for $15CAD ($12USD), plus a nominal charge for shipping and handling. Not only that, but if you don't agree with us that it's a great story, just send it back and we'll refund your money -- and that includes the cost of shipping it to you in the first place! That's how confident we are that you'll enjoy reading Rick's third novel.

Shooting Straight is a "trade paperback" which means the book is the same size and has the same paper quality as a hardcover. As usual, our rickblechta.com policy of inscribing books absolutely free is always in effect. Click to order your copy.

The Lark Ascending is now out of print in both hardcover and trade paperback. (If you come across a trade paperback copy -- or already have one -- they’re apparently worth some money). You can generally find used copies listed on the Internet without much trouble, but they're getting harder to find these days.

For those who enjoyed Cemetery of the Nameless, bear in mind that it's the sequel to this book, the first one Rick wrote about Tory and Rocky. Cemetery contails a number of references to things which take place in this book, and you can find out what Tory was like when she was younger and even more of a wild child.

While you can try ordering Knock on Wood from your favourite book dealer, it is, unfortunately, generally only available from two places on the entire planet: this site and in Toronto -- although any of the bookstores on our Links page would be pleased to order you a copy! (They know how to get in touch with us.) It is a hardcover and sells here at rickblechta.com at the low, low price of $12 US or $18 in Canadian funds. Postage and handling on this book are free, as is the inscription of your choice. It also comes with an INDUSTRY FIRST, special money-back guarantee brought to you only by rickblechta.com: if Knock on Wood is not the very best first novel by me that you’ve ever read, I will gladly refund each and every cent you paid! How's that for an outstanding deal? Click to order your copy.
